Validating items

Validation checks that an item's XML is correctly coded. It doesn't check anything else, for example, whether the coded answer is correct. Validation happens automatically when you preview an item.

To validate the current item manually, click Validate XML in the toolbar.

If the XML is not valid, the editor displays a message describing the error.
